Meeting called to order by Cmdr Paul at 7:00 PM at Paula's Cafe in Sartell.

Opening Prayer was read by the Chaplin Rolly W.

Last months (July's) minutes read by Adj. John D.

Motion by Snuffy 2nd by Robert S. The minutes were approved.

Membership: Stands at 64, reported by Robert S. Our goal is 135 members.

Finance Committee Report by Finance Officer Nick D.

All financial notes are in a separate report.

Motion to approve the Finance Officers report was made by John D. and 2nd by Rolly W. Approved

Old Business:

The CMDR tabled the following topics until next months meeting: Membership Dinner Joining the Sartell Chamber of Commerce Resurfacing of the parking lot at the Veterans Park Moving the Storage area to a commercial site.

New Business:

Flip M. suggested another way of getting the Sartell Legion noticed. That idea was to sell brats at Coborns. All that is necessary is for the members to help out.
Flags will be raised on August 30th. Please be at the storage area by 9:00 AM to help out. At this same time, the storage shed will be reviewed to see what can be discarded and what needs to be kept. Snuffy will see if the Legion has an extra POW/MIA flag to replace the one on the East side of the river. If no flag is present, Snuffy has been authorized to buy a replacement flag.
