Meeting called to order by Cmdr Paul at 7:30 PM at the Sartell Bowling Alley.

Opening Prayer read by Nick D.

Last months (May's) minutes read by Adj. John D.,

    Motion by Chuck H., 2nd by Flip M. The minutes were
      Approved.

Guests:

    Ann Doyshcer-Domres and Tim O'Driscoll gave their impressions on how the Memorial Day Ceremony went. They estimated about 250 people showed up for the event. The members of the Legion thought the Ceremony went very well also. A motion was made by Flip M, and 2nd by Nick D. to stay in contact with the city to help again with such events. Ideas brought up:
    1. Increase the Legion's budget for Memorial Day.
    2. Add an electrical outlet to the Monument from the nearby light pole.
    3. Repairs to the Monument itself are needed, this was noted by Erv H.
    Sartell.s parade went very well also. Thanks to the Color Guard, from the Sartell American Legion, The parade was also a success.

Membership: Stands at 135, reported by Nick D.

    Our newest member is Dave H.

Finance Committee Report by Ralph J.

    Motion to approve the Finance Officers report was made by Nick D. 2nd by Erv H. Approved

Old Business

    The pans, used in cooking eggs for our breakfasts, will not be sold and they will be allowed to be used by others.

New Business:

    The Legion received a donation from James Gratke, Thank You Sir, the funds will be put to good use.
    A request from the Sartell American Legion Baseball team was made. The Cmdr will look into and coordinate with the team for Legion members to show up at a game.
    Flags will be retired on July 7, at 9 AM. Please help if possible.
    The Cmdr brought up the idea of looking into getting a club for our Legion. It is only in the looking stage right now. Progress will be reported.
