A correction to the Membership number was noted. Motion by Snuffy, 2nd by Rolly W. The minutes were Approved.

Guests: Jane Laskey, Joyce Celle and Marcie Dingman represented the City of Sartell and its book, THE HISTORY OF SARTELL,MN. They wanted to get the Legions. response of the article in the book. Plus, that the St. Cloud Times now has a reporter to help get local groups like the American Legion, get the recognition they deserve.

Ann Doyshcer-Domres and Tim O'Driscoll presented their ideas for the 2007 Memorial Day observance. The ceremony will start around 9:00 AM at the Veterans Park in Sartell on 28 May, 2007. An outline of the ceremony is: Songs by the Community choir

• Songs by the Community Choir
• Speakers
• A Centennial marker to be placed at the Monument
• Two buglers for TAPS
• Possible 21 gun salute by Firing Squad
• Flags will be available for the ceremony.

Robert Kmitch presented a request from the Veterans Cemetery by Fort Ripley. They are requesting volunteers to serve on the Rifle Squad for Funerals at the cemetery. If interested contact Mel Buessleor at (320) 277-3304 or online at http://www.mdva.state.mn.us

A letter from the St. Cloud VA was received requesting volunteers to an Ice Cream Social on June 24 at 1:30 PM.
