Meeting called to order by Cmdr Paul at 7:00 PM at Liquid Assets in Sartell.

Opening Prayer was read by the Finance Officer, Nick D.

Last months (February's) minutes read by ADJ, John D.

    Ammended by the Finance Officer Motion by Nick D. 2nd by Robert S. The minutes were approved.

Guest to the Sartell Legion: Mayor Tim O’Driscoll contacted the American Legion for the upcoming Memorial Day Celebration (May 25, 2009). He wanted to be sure the Legion would be in full support of the day. The Mayor listed the items the Legion is to take care of: Refreshments Serve the Refreshments Legion Prayer 5 Flags (US, Legion, POW/MIA, State and City) Rifle Squad Cover the cost of printed materials Wreath Placement Contact the Boy Scouts Serving tables to be brought by Flip M. The Mayor will set up meetings with the CMDR to be sure all aspects of the celebration are in order. The Mayor also mentioned the Sartell Summerfest Parade is scheduled for June 13th.

Finance Committee Report by the Finance Officer, Nick D.

    All financial notes are in a separate report.
    Motion to approve the Finance Officers report was made by John D. and 2nd by Flip M. Approved

Membership: Reported by the Membership Chairman, Robert S. Stands at 112, Our goal is 130.

Old Business:

    The Hockey donation for uniforms was received and the Membership decided to donate to sponsor a team. This is on a 1-year trial basis. If this works out, the item can become part of the Legion’s budget

    New Business:

      The Legion received a Thank You note from the VA on our donation to the Disabled Hunters fund. Donations: Sauk Rapids Drug Free Graduation Party MS Donation St. Cloud Stand Down (Not this year but will be Discussed as part of next years budget) Motion made by Nick D. to donate to these requests, 2nd by Flip M. Approved.

      Closing Prayer was read by the Finance Officer, Nick D.
