We stand at 135 paid members.

Old Business

The meat raffle was on March 2nd at 4:45PM. The funds were allocated to the Legion Baseball team. Thanks to all who worked. The Cmdr wants to get more raffles in the coming year and will be talking to the Sauk Rapids VFW about this.

The Legion jackets and hats have been ordered by Chuck H. He will let every one know when they arrive.

New Business:

The Cmdr is meeting with Sartell's Mayor, and coordinating our Memorial Day event. Volunteers are needed to hold Flags. It will be on Monday, May 28, 2007 at 9:00AM at Veterans Park in Sartell. Ann Doyscher-Domres from Wells Fargo is again helping us out with flags. Chuck H. "volunteered" to bring the treats for this years event. The Cmdr is working on getting a Rifle Squad for a 21 Gun Salute.

Sartell's 100th year celebration was also brought up and discussed. It was tabled until next meeting. A member brought up the issue that the Veterans monument needs trimming and who should take care of this. The Cmdr will look into this.

Flags will be put up on May 17, at around 4: 30 PM. Come and help out, if possible. Contact the Cmdr if interested in helping.
