Motion to approve the Finance Officers report and bills was
made by Dick C. 2nd by Flip M. Approved.
Old Business:
The CMDR continues to get more and more donations to help
cover the cost of repaving the blacktop. A final total will be
announced later in the Legion’s fiscal year.
Scout Troop (11), that our American Legion sponsors, will have
3 Scouts earning the Eagle Scout Ranking this year. Nick D. has
ordered the trophies to be ready by 1 Feb, 2010.
The first of the trophies will be given to the Eagle Scout,
Cole Jenkins, on 8 Feb. at the Sartell Middle School Room 675
between 7:00 and 8:30 PM. The rest of the awards will be
handed to the other two scouts during their award ceremony
later in the year. The Scout Master, John Burnett, thought this
would be a better time to handout the trophies.
New Business:
It is with a heavy heart that the resignation of the Finance Officer,
Nick D. has been accepted. He is resigning due to personnel
reasons. His replacement will be Dick C. Dick has volunteered
to cover the Finance Officers position until the next election takes
place this year.
A big Thank You to Nick for a job well done.
