Meeting called to order by Cmdr Paul at 7:00 PM at Perkin’s in Sartell.

Opening Prayer was read by the Sgt of Arms, Chuck H.

Last months (December's) minutes read by ADJ, John D.

A correction was stated as to the actual amount and timing of the bill for the Christmas baskets.
Motion by Nick D. 2nd by Flip M. The minutes were approved.

Finance Committee Report by the Finance Officer, Nick D.

Nick presented a 6 month refiew of the current budget to the Legion Membership
All financial notes are in a separate report.
Motion to approve the Finance Officers report was made by Dick C. and 2nd by Chuck H. Approved

Membership: Reported by the Membership Chairman, Robert S. Stands at 111, Our goal is 130.

Old Business:

The Lgion received the bill for the flags to be given to the local Boy Scout Troop 11. The cost was $85.50 per set. The Legion purchased two (2) sets. Thanks to Dick C. for getting these flags. The Hockey donation of $500 for uniforms is tabled until an official request letter is received by the Legion. The Bibles, presented at funerals of Legion Members, will be handed directly to the spouse during the funeral ceremony.

New Business:

The meeting time for the Sartell American Legion has been changed to the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The next Sartell American Legion meeting is on February 18, 2009.
